As 2020 drew to a close many people said that they had had enough of this terrible year that was filled with uncertainty, chance and fear and that could not wait for 2021, a new year and supposedly all the negative issues will stay in 2020! In the last year, during the COVID-19 pandemic, it became very clear that a lot of the 2020 challenges will persist in 2021 and the reality is that periods of great change and uncertainly always yield great opportunity for business owners that can adapt and pivot their offerings! 

At the start of a new year, it is only natural to review where you are from a life and business point of view and to re asses what is truly important and which aspects of life and business, we should not plough any emotional and mental energy into. Sometimes in the " fog of war" we can get a bit confused about what is important and what we should care about! 

It all starts with our dreams, a great way to manifest this is by doing and reviewing a dream chart. This means thinking about your bucket list items and about the various aspects of your life to figure out what you are chasing?  It is also about defining your “WHY” for the various areas of life we dream about.  Your “WHY” is the thing that gets you out of bed early, that makes you make that extra sales call, that makes you persevere and what gives you drive! 

A great way of doing this is by splitting your dreams and aspirations into four areas and considering where you are at the moment vs. where you desire to be: 

• Wealth - How much money do you need to make your dreams come true vs. how much money your business is giving you at the moment? 

• Health - We only get on body and without health most other things are basically meaningless. Do you have a business that allows you to realise your health and fitness dreams? 

• Relationships - Do you have a business that gives you enough time to spend with your family and friends and to share the special experiences in life? 

• Spiritual/Mindset - Do you have a business that gives you the time and opportunity to look after your mental and spiritual needs?
