Hein is also passionate about endurance sports and has completed 2 comrades marathons, two full Ironman events and countless cycling events which included several podium finishes at KZN provincial level.
Hein is married to Retha, they both originate from Gauteng province, lived in KZN for 7 years and have recently relocated part time to Mauritius, to expand the business coaching services.
