THE BEST DAY AND TIMES TO SEND AN EMAIL MARKETING CAMPAIGN!

If you want your company’s emails to stand out in a crowded inbox then this blog post is for you! Everyone’s inboxes are filled with personal emails, work emails, product promotions and a lot of spam!

There are various approaches that you need to test and measure to see if your marketing campaign has been viewed by your audience, as there is no single approach that is guaranteed to get you views and interactions every time.

Firstly, you need to send your email at THE RIGHT DAY AND TIME! Studies have shown that timing strategies are important and according to Hubspot, "the highest click-through rate occur around 11:00am". This time of day is known for having the best open and read rates and it is important to send your emails at the right time, as this has a huge impact on whether or not your mail is actually opened. 

We recommend that businesses send their email campaigns on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 10:00am and 2:00pm. This is the time when most individuals are active on their email accounts and it’s the best time of day to reach and engage with your subscribers and target market.

 Mondays are less successful for sending email campaigns as people are often playing catch up from all the mail they have received over the weekend and by the time Friday comes, everyone is ready for the weekend as they are not as focused as they should be! Be sure to send your email campaigns on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – however, always create an email schedule that fits your targeted audience.

Once you have sent an email campaign, it is very important to examine your email analytics to see how well your campaign performed, so that you can implement new strategies if needed. Please remember to take full advantage of your analytics and send email campaigns that have a call to action and resonate with your target market!
